Day 1: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt
Depart from Fes in the morning. Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the Berber village of Immouzer Kandar. Explore Ifrane, often referred to as 'the Switzerland of Morocco' due to its architecture. Continue the journey with glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the midst of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbary apes. After spending some time within the forest, continue the drive to Midelt. Arrive in Midelt and check into Your Hotel for Dinner, Bed, and Breakfast. Day 2: Errachidia – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel in Midelt, continue your journey towards Merzouga. Drive through the Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, enjoying views of the High Atlas plateau. Notice how the landscape gradually changes as you approach the city of Errachidia. Travel along the lush Ziz Valley, making stops for panoramic views on the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Meet your experienced Camel man who will guide you into the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Embark on a camel trek, allowing you to explore the mesmerizing sand-sea of the Erg Chebbi. Pause to witness the breathtaking sunset over the dunes. Continue your camel ride deeper into the desert, experiencing the tranquility and beauty of the Sahara. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be either under the stars, with a clear view of the desert sky, or in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Day 3: Merzouga – Er rissani – Merzouga
Your Camel man will wake you up early in the morning to witness what may be the most spectacular sunrise of your life over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the peacefulness of the desert as you camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Have breakfast in Merzouga to energize for the day's activities. Exploration of Er Rissani: Depart for the holy city of Er Rissani. Visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif, where members of the Alouite dynasty are buried. Explore the ruins of Ksar Abbar, a kasbah that dates back to the 17th century. Discover Rissani's famed palmerie and get a glimpse of daily life on the edge of the desert. Visit the Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim, constructed around 1900 during the reign of Sultan Moulay Hassan. Return to Merzouga: Continue your journey through the open black desert, admiring the everchanging hues of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Return to Merzouga in the evening. Overnight accommodations will be provided in a riad or hotel in Merzouga. Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Boumanle Dades – Ouarzazate

Begin your journey towards Rissani, a town known for its unique heritage and the rose city of Kalaa Mgouna, where you can purchase rose water and other local products. Continue through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, a picturesque route with a line of kasbahs, just before the town of Skoura. Explore the kasbahs along the way, immersing yourself in the rich history and architecture of the region. Proceed to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the 'Hollywood of Africa' due to its stunning geography and landscapes that have attracted filmmakers from around the world. If there is no ongoing production event, you may have the opportunity to visit the movie studio, a famous cinematic center used for blockbuster productions, including 'Astrix and Cleopatra' directed by Alain Chabat and the Oscar-winning 'Gladiator' directed by Ridley Scott. Overnight stay at a riad in Ouarzazate.
