DAY 1

Marrakesh – Ait Benhaddou – Gorge Dades

Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Marrakesh airport or your hotel. We’ll set off on a scenic drive to Ouarzazate, a historic caravan town nestled in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains, often referred to as the Gateway to the Sahara. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the dramatic landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the picturesque Berber town of Taddert and ascending the impressive 2260-meter-high Tizi-in-Tichka pass.

Our first major stop is the iconic Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, located just 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate. This remarkable kasbah is a captivating red-earth castle and a UNESCO World Heritage site, gracing the ancient road of the Kasbahs. We’ll savor a delightful lunch by the Kasbah before continuing our journey towards Dades Gorge, famously known as “the Hollywood of Africa.”

As we travel along the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs,” you’ll be enchanted by the enchanting “sand castles” that line our path. Our adventure continues with a stop at Kalaat Mgouna, known as “the Rose’s City” due to its abundance of roses and the annual rose harvest festival held in May. From there, we’ll proceed to our hotel nestled in the heart of the Dades Gorge, where you can unwind and soak in the stunning surroundings.

DAY 2

Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel in the Dades Gorge, we’ll embark on another exciting day of exploration. Our first stop will take us back through the valley to witness the incredible rock formation known as “the Monkey Toes.” We’ll also have the opportunity to visit the well-preserved 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul, a testament to the region’s rich history.

Leaving the Dades Valley behind, we’ll make our way towards Tinrghir and the Todra Valley. As we journey, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of ancient mud-built Berber villages perched on the hillsides overlooking the valley. Our ultimate destination is the Todra Gorge, where you’ll have the chance to take a leisurely walk beneath the towering 300-meter-high red cliffs. This area is a popular destination for rock climbers who come to enjoy their favorite sport amidst the stunning natural surroundings.

Our 4-Day Marrakech to Casablanca desert tour continues as we drive to Erfoud and Rissani, where we’ll stop for a delicious lunch to refuel for the afternoon ahead. After lunch, we’ll head to the village of Merzouga, where your trusty camel awaits. Guided by an experienced Camel guide, you’ll embark on a captivating camel trek into the heart of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. Here, in the midst of the mysterious sand-sea, you’ll have the choice to spend the night under the glittering desert stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Whichever option you choose, you’re in for an unforgettable desert experience.

DAY 3
Merzouga – Ziz Valley- Medilt

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to add an exciting element to your desert adventure with a morning of quad biking in the mesmerizing Merzouga desert. Whether you’re an experienced rider or a beginner, this thrilling experience allows you to explore the vast and ever-changing dunes of the Erg-Chebbi in a unique way. Feel the rush as you navigate the sandy terrain, creating lasting memories of your desert journey.

After your quad biking adventure, we’ll continue our journey through the stunning landscapes of Morocco. We’ll drive through the picturesque Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and fertile lands, offering a stark contrast to the desert scenery you’ve experienced in Merzouga.

Our journey will lead us to the town of Midelt, nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Here, you can enjoy a change of scenery and climate as you explore the town’s surroundings. Midelt is known for its apple orchards and is a great place to stretch your legs and take in the serene mountain views.

This day offers a blend of adrenaline-pumping desert activity and serene natural beauty as we continue to explore the diverse landscapes of Morocco on our way to our next destination.

DAY 4
Medilt-Casablanca

The final day of your 4-Day Marrakech to Casablanca desert tour will see you departing from Midelt as you make your way to the vibrant coastal city of Casablanca.

As you leave Midelt, you’ll have the chance to admire the scenic beauty of the Atlas Mountains, which have provided a picturesque backdrop for your travels. The road will wind its way through the mountains, offering glimpses of charming Berber villages along the route.

As you continue your journey westward, the landscape will gradually transition from the mountains to the more coastal regions of Morocco. Eventually, you’ll arrive in Casablanca, one of the country’s largest and most cosmopolitan cities. Here, you can explore its modern architecture, historic sites, and vibrant culture.

Your adventure through Morocco will conclude in Casablanca, where you can reflect on the diverse experiences and stunning landscapes you’ve encountered during your journey before heading to the airport or your next destination.
